This is definitely one of my favorite weddings of 2022. Not only did it take place in Villa Pocci, a beautiful place on Lake Albano, about 30 km from Rome.
First of all, with Iwona and Riccardo, two wonderful people, I felt a great bond, which helped me to feel even more at ease and to present this day in the photos as truthfully as possible.
Iwona is Polish and Riccardo is Italian. A Polish-Italian wedding is a combination of two different cultures and traditions. At my couple’s wedding, there were elements characteristic of both countries, such as Italian cuisine, music, and Polish customs. The party was hosted by two dance leaders, one Polish and one Italian! It was a great combination because each guest could feel at ease and have fun with the rhythm of Polish or Italian hits.
There was also the tradition of the bride throwing a bouquet, as well as, as it is done in the Polish tradition, the Groom throwing a bow tie.
All this made this wedding really special, and Villa Pocci is a beautiful place that is perfect to organize a romantic wedding ceremony. From the windows of the villa and terraces, there is an amazing view of the lake and green hills, which makes this place even more romantic and picturesque. During the aperitivo we could admire the magical sunset, and my couple and guests had a great time throughout the wedding.
