This wedding day began with preparations at Villa Dolce Bellezza in Salò, then we headed to Sirmione for a civil ceremony on Lake Garda, before returning to the villa for a relaxed celebration. Open lake views, warm late-afternoon light, and an atmosphere that felt perfect from start to finish.

Villa Dolce Bellezza is one of those places where you arrive and immediately exhale. The view over Lake Garda is unreal, and the villa has that quiet, private feeling that makes a wedding day feel intimate, even with guests around. It was the perfect base for getting ready, spending time together, and hosting a celebration that felt so beautiful.

Sirmione is iconic for a reason. It’s romantic, compact, and full of Italian charm, with the lake surrounding you almost everywhere you turn. For a civil wedding, it’s one of the most atmospheric places on Lake Garda.
A practical tip if you’re planning a Sirmione wedding
Sirmione’s historic centre has a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), which means you usually can’t simply drive in and park wherever you want. Most couples and guests park outside the centre and walk in, or arrange permitted access through hotel/wedding logistics.
Aperitivo and dinner at the villa
After the ceremony, we moved back to the villa for aperitivo and a long, warm evening. The catering prepared beautiful bites and a wonderful dinner. The kind of food that makes everyone sit a little longer, and actually enjoy the moment.
